But, this time Bollywood could not wait that long to make sure whether Chaitu’s upcoming movie ‘Dhada’ will be a hit or flop before grabbing the remake rights offering Rs.80 lakhs for it. RR.Movie Makers which recently entered into distribution market has acquired the distribution rights of AP by offering Rs.12 crores. Considering that, the film is made with Rs.30 crore, the film makers have bagged half the amount before its release.

The success of 'Oosaravelli' has made the distributors compete for his next movie 'Dammu' rights. According to reports, it is learnt that Dil Raju has bagged 'Dammu' rights for Nizam area offering a whooping amount to film makers.
This film is produced by KS Rama Rao and Boyapati Sreenu will direct it. Shruthi Hassan will play the female lead opposite Jr.NTR in the movie. Regular shooting of the movie will commence before end of this month at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad where a huge set has been erected for the film. Later, the unit will move to Kerala to shoot a song sequence and some talky part of the movie. It is learnt that Jr.NTR character has a flash back story for in which he appears with moustache.
